to the Bilingual Montessori School of Nice.

Our bilingual (French/English) nursery and primary school’s mission is to allow each child to fully develop their potential and capabilities as collaborative and independent learners. Based on the educational approach of Maria Montessori, our method of teaching is based on the respect of the multiple rhythms of learners, and particularly of children taking control of their learning. Our vision is that of education in motion, adapting to each child in their own time.

Ideally situated in a green and quiet environment at the top of the Fabron hill, between a view of sea and mountain, the two storey 2000m2 campus on a 3000m2 piece of land provides all the outdoor space the children need to enjoy themselves.

The school welcomes 140 children from 2 to 11 years old, split in 4 age group levels: 2 to 3 years, 3 to 6 years, 6 to 9 years, and 9 to 11 years.

The school follows the French academic calendar: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday the school opens from 8am to 6pm and provides school lunches. There is no class on Wednesdays however the school’s Activity centre is open for all children from 2 to 11 years. The Activity centre, in the same location as the school, is also open during school holidays (except Christmas holidays and August) from 8am to 6pm.

My sons Arthur and Romeo, who are respectively 8 and 3 years old both go to the bilingual Montessori school of Nice. Both of them love their school, they come home happy and joyful after their day at school. They both benefit a lot from the bilingual teaching method, Romeo is learning english and Arthur, who is already bilingual, enjoys working in both languages. The teaching team is amazing, caring, commited, motivated and supportive, they are also available for the parents. I drop my children off everyday knowing that they are not only in the best hands, but most capable as well. Michèle

“Bamba is in his third year at the bilingual Montessori school of Nice and it is with great joy that I observe his evolution and development, as well as his profound attachment to the school. I am so grateful for the support and attention given to my son by the teaching team. They know how to address his learning needs taking into account his strengths and his difficulties, and making sure he evolves confidently and in the love of learning. ” Marina

“I am a teacher in a local school in Nice’s backcountry where I had the pleasure to welcome Alixe in September last year. She left the bilingual Montessori school of Nice to join our school after relocating to our village. She adapted very quickly to her new environment and rapidly demonstrated a high academic level for her age. What most impresses me with Alixe, is her autonomy in her work as well as her tutoring and social skills which lead to her becoming a driving force in my classroom. After 6 months with us I am still amazed by her love of learning and her reasoning skills.” Cathia

“My son Clément had always attended Montessori schools when he joined the bilingual Montessori School of Nice in 2015 for the two final years of primary school. In September 2017 he was admitted in a public middle school where he is now thriving. His academic level is excellent and his adaptation to middle school was very quick. His teachers describe him as an independent learner with an inquisitive mind, a happy and socially mature child who is perfectly settled in his new environment.” Thierry
